Nomination Details
Veolia customer service previously relied on printed, word-of-mouth, or outdated cloud-based documentation for information and training. Since launching NiCE Knowledge Management in late July 2025, we now support over 160 users across five states and business units.
Key Achievements and Features:

Trailblazing Implementation: Our implementation was unique: we populated content from nearly 150 raw articles and did all design work directly in the system—a first, according to our NiCE Implementation Specialist, who said it would set a precedent for others who might want to do what we did.

Targeted Content Delivery: To accommodate the diverse needs of our employees, we leveraged NiCE features like conditional content, page-level permissions, and groups to ensure that the content on our over 600 pages is seen only by those who should see it. For instance, a page about a specific topic can be accessed by any of our users, but conditional content is visible only to specific groups who need to see that specific information.

Workflow Integration: We also use various NiCE Knowledge Management elements (including content reuse) to ensure consistency and to present information that fits an individual's workflow and training style (e.g., linked contact info, efficiently displayed tables, images within accordions, etc.). Embedded forms, sheets, paths, search recommendations, and precise tags also help users find and interact with relevant content.

Rapid Adoption: Our users' rapid adoption of the tool highlights its necessity, with users quickly accumulating nearly 60,000 page views and over 9,000 searches since its launch. This averages nearly 350 views per day.
